Insulation Types
Here at Penguin Insulation, we offer a wide array of insulation types to ensure that your house receives the best insulation possible. Insulation will ensure that your home is more comfortable, that the air quality is better, and that your energy costs will be reduced.
Blow In
A lot of energy is lost through attics that are insufficiently insulated. Our blow in insulation services allow us to easily implement insulation in existing structures. These services use a machine called a blower, creating a fluffy material that is used to fill in cavities within walls.
Batt
Batt insulation is one of the most common insulation methods. It uses fiberglass sheets that fit into cavities between wood panels. This method is one of the most affordable insulation methods and can provide increased energy efficiency and noise control.
Foam Injection
Foam injection insulation is an excellent way to add insulation to an existing structure. It requires only a small hole to be drilled in the wall. Foam insulation will then be inserted through the hole, filling the existing cavity in the wall. When the foam hardens, it will create an air-tight seal and will even reduce the noise that is able to penetrate the wall.
Spray Foam
This method of insulation involves spraying polyurethane foam over surfaces to provide insulation. It is available in various densities that are ideal for different kinds of insulation. Spray foam is a flexible method for insulation and it also protects against moisture and vapor.
Rigid Foam
Rigid foam insulation involves a rigid board that is used to insulate walls or roofing. This method has multiple options for material, including expanded polystyrene, polyisocyanurate, and extruded polystyrene. Rigid foam insulation is an extremely durable choice for your insulation project.
Sound Deadening
No one wants to spend their nights awake in bed, listening to exceptionally noisy neighbors. Sound deadening can help minimize the amount of sound that can penetrate through the walls of your home. It can be used for specific rooms or buildings.
Air Sealing
Air can easily flow in and out of the house through cracks or other leaks in the home. We are able to detect these leaks, as well as provide the necessary insulation methods for sealing them. Air sealing is important to prevent a significant waste of energy.
